Rajuk accepted my 3rd installment as 2nd installment
Remaining amount can be paid any time before plot handover

Attempts to take possession & Additional fee Payments 2013 - 2019
2013
December 5th: I came to Bangladesh and applied to take possession of the plot.
2014- 2015
My brother inquired about about the status of my application to take possession of the plot . They told him
They can't locate my file folder.
My father and brother kept on inquiring rajuk multiple times during 2014 -2015 but Rajuk still couldn't locate my files for 2 years!
2016
After bribing significant amount of money to multiple Rajuk official by my brother they finally located my file. below is a link to the newspaper report which explains missing files issue at Rajuk.
Rajuk official checked/verified my previous payments and told me I need to pay additional $121, since bank deducted that amount as service charge from the last payment
May 16th: Wire transfer another $125 & received by Rajuk.
2017
March 5th: I came to Bangladesh and applied again to take possession . But this time applied to take possession As IS without finishing the plot development.
2018
January 25th: Rajuk notifies that Plot will be ready to hand over by 25th Jan 2018. After this date need to pay interest for due amount
April 27th: Rajuk notifies in a handwritten note , I will need to pay additional 4,39,167 tk for the excess land.
2019
March 27th: My brother took my case to "Rajuk help week", since we weren't able to get anything done through the regular channel at Rajuk office.
- DA Monir promise to take prompt action ( Which later prove to be completely useless)
March 10th - 25th: I came to Bangladesh to mourn my father's passing away but I had to spent most of my stay in Bangladesh to deal with Rajuks endless bureaucracy and red tapes. But I was able to get the following thing done.
As required, I appeared before Rajuk's Directors with all my documents and credentials. Director signed off my application and send it to MIS
MIS cleared me that I don't own any other property and I can take possession of this plot that was allotted to me on May 25th 2005.
Plot Cancelation & Court Case 2020
2020
Seems to be there is a conspiracy within rajuk to steal the plots that are in high demand (10 katha plot next to 300' road). Specifically plots that have been allotted to Expatriate Bangladeshi. Please see the news article below about the plot which is located right next to mine
September 25th: My brother informed me that Rajuk has came up with some fictitious excuses and refusing to handover the plot. Rajuk will be discussing my plot handover issue at their next board meeting. On my behalf my brother sent the following letter to Rajuk . Asking why the plot handover issue will be raised at the board meeting?
September 27th: Rajuk held their board meeting. Using some bogus late payment date they decide to cancel my plot allotment
October 25th: Again, on my behalf my brother sent another complaint to Rajuk Chairman. Questioning the validity of the plot allotment cancellation .
November 25th: In the midst of Coronavirus pandemic I had to drop everything and come back to Bangladesh to deal with the situation!
November 27th: Filed Writ petition against Rajuk at the High Court.
December 2nd: High court issued Stay order against the Plot cancellation.
December 6th: I tried to hand deliver the certified copy of the stay order to Rajuk. But they refuse accept it from me!
December 7th: I sent the certified Stay Order via registered mail and tracked email. Both of them have been received by Rajuk.
December 17th: Rajuk received Stay Order from high court.
December 23rd: I went to Raujks Purbachal estate office to verify that stay order is in the file. They told me that they haven't received the stay order. They also told me that they are actively working on reallotting my plot to another party! Checked with Rajuks legal department, found out that the legal department clerk has been sitting on it for days. He told me it will take weeks if not months to get the “High Courts stay order” to my file, if I don't bribe him!
December 24, 27, 28th : I spent entire days in Rajuk office in order to get the stay order to my file at the Purbachal estet section. I literally stand (since all the chairs have been removed for the visitors due to the Covid19 pandemic) in front of rajuk official door in order for them to sign, seal and move it to the next station.
One of Purbachal Estet employees who asked for anonymity , told me that I am a little too late, my plot has already been re-allocated to another person. Rajuk was aware of the stay order since December 6th but they went ahead and defied high courts order and re-allotted the plot anyway.
Rajuk wasn't able to process my application for plot handover for 7 years (after officially completing all my payments and documentation in 2013) But they managed to cancel my allotment (without informing me) and re-allocated to another person within 3 months in the midst of a pandemic!
